About me
Hi, my name is Stuart Rickard. I'm a fully qualified Government Approved Driving Instructor (ADI). I'm a member of the Official Register of Driving Instructor Trainers (ORDIT), and a DVSA registered Fleet Driver Trainer. I qualified as a driving instructor in 2005 and have been with LDC ever since, joining initially as an instructor and since performing many roles within the company.

After working as an instructor and instructor trainer in Surrey, West London, my family and I moved to Pontefract in 2018 following an invitation to lead the team delivering instructor training to whole LDC franchise network. Currently, the majority of my working week spent spear-heading the training department as the training & quality assurance manager.

I am passionate about road safety and the teaching of driving as a holistic life skill. I enjoy my weekly time in the car to share these passions as well as continually developing my professional level of practical, in-car skills with learners and instructors.
